Who am I?

My name is Slavomir Horak and I was born and I live in the Czech Republic. Since 2010, I have been organizing volunteer camps in Tusheti and within these more than ten years I fell in love with this region. If you come to Tusheti, the marked tourist trails you will use were marked by our Czech volunteers. Some bridges were also rebuilt with our help as well as some other (often non-visible) works accomplished together with our partners (Tusheti Protected Landscape, Tusheti National Park). I am proud to be a part of the project Implementation of Tusheti Protected Landscape Management Plan with my Czech friends and counterparts with Czech Development Agency funding us for several years.

Who am I not?

I am neither a tourist guide nor a travel agency. I just try to collect the information about Tusheti and publish it for other travelers. Please, in case you need a guide, try to find a tour operator organizing the trips to Tusheti in your country or in Georgia. There are plenty of them, at least in Georgia itself.
